If you are looking for a quick pick me up for your face, then a banana facial is could be the answer. What I really like about banana facial is that they are easy to make and inexpensive. After leaving the mask on for 10 minutes before rinsing off.  My skin always glows and it feels much softer after this face mask.  When I have a few extra minutes to spare, I will often add a few drops of raw honey to my banana facial mix.

Simple Oat Facials

This is one of the easiest facials to make, especially if you are pushed for time.  To begin with, I take a handful of oats and grind them done, until I have a consistency which I like. I then add one tablespoon of raw honey and mix the two ingredients together. Honey is a great ingredient because it helps to bind the oats together.  In case you didn’t know, honey is thought have anti-inflammatory properties!

Now it’s time to add one egg yolk, discard the egg white. Simply mix all the ingredients together and apply to your face. Leave this mask on your face for around 10 minutes then wash off.


Easy Homemade Hair Mask

Avocados are not only tasty, they are truly fabulous for your hair. To get started with this fabulous mask, simply grab a fork or potato and begin to mash an avocado. Once you are happy with the consistency, add a tablespoon of olive oil. Work in the olive oil into the avocado for a minute or so.

I usually section my hair and use my fingers to apply the mask. Once my hair is covered with the mask, I put on my shower cap and leave the mask on for twenty minutes. I usually rinse the avocado hair mask out of my hair, then shampoo and condition as usual.
