We all know that children have so much fun reading. When my children were younger, they too made use of their reading log. My children really got a lot out of writing down their opinions in their reading logs. They also wrote down their favourite quotes in relation to the books which they had read.
Advantages of Reading Logs for 5th Graders
Everyone knows that literacy is good for children. Reading logs are perfect for tracking the books your children have read. Also, reading magazines can point to the types of books that naturally appeal to your children.

Reading journal gives your child an open forum to talk about what they liked, or maybe what they didn’t like so much about a book.

This enabled me to have the pleasure of designing two children’s Reading logs. These reading journals contain sections where your child will be able to write their personal thoughts on the books they have read. These notebooks are designed for informal use.
Reading is a source of escape for a lot of kids. When my kids were younger, they would fill a lot of reading logs. My kids really liked to record their personal thoughts. It quickly became clear that books with a diary-centric theme were the most popular.
